Tour Plan

Rhodes is a unique blend of Greek, Knights of St. John, Ottoman, and Italian cultures, offering a chance to explore medieval, oriental, and Aegean influences at every turn. Tourists from around the Aegean Sea frequent the island for daily tours. The Old Town, which we will visit, has been a UNESCO Heritage Site since 1988.

The Palace of the Grand Masters, located at the top of Knights Street, was built by the Knights of St. John on a Byzantine citadel during their reign on the island between the 14th and 16th centuries. Visitors can then walk along the city walls, taking in the imposing towers, bastions, gates, dry moat, and artillery firing posts.

The Archaeological Museum, housed in the Hospital of the Knights, features a wealth of collections, including marble statues, urns, funerary stele, and stunning mosaics found on the island. Mandraki Harbor, as old as the city itself, is home to three windmills and provides an excellent spot for taking selfies. The Byzantine Roloi Clock Tower, Ottoman Suleyman Mosque, and cobbled Street of the Knights offer a glimpse into the past, taking travelers back centuries. We will also spend some time at Elli Beach if time allows. This popular destination is one of the most visited beaches on the island and warm enough to swim in through October.
